Divine Sound
Yesterday, something remarkable happened. My friend Karen invited me to offer a sound healing with her horse, Chloe, a registered tobiano Paint, and Dancer, a Tennesee Walker. Karen also invited two of her close friends to the hour-long event. I set up the circle with the crystal singing bowls in the outside riding arena. It was a perfect fall afternoon. Here is the surprise:
The two mares showed us their masterful abilities to respond to the humans’ needs. Why is this a surprise? They do this every day and all day. They have always supported us. There was something new today. This is what happened:
When Karen and I brought the two mares into the outdoor arena, they were on high alert when they saw the chairs and singing bowls. For them, something was out of place. Karen and I walked them in the arena and let them see the new objects. I spoke out loud to Dancer and Chloe, reminding them that this was an offering for them. This was a gift for all their hard work.
Not quite convinced, they went to the edge of the arena and reached under the fence for some grass. We sat down and set our intentions. One of the participants had her dog by her side in the arena. The dog did not want to be excluded, satisfied to be in the circle with the four humans.
I began playing the crystal singing bowls. Chloe and Dancer stopped eating grass. Chloe came over to my side, without Dancer, to investigate. Dancer, who was near death one year ago, began to dance and run after Chloe at canter. Afterall, she is the lead mare and makes the decisions!
The mares went to the corner and started to breathe and snort in synchronicity. They were awakened!
As I finished playing the singing bowls and rain stick, we brought our attention back to our bodies. Dancer made her move. She walked to one of the women and stood next to her with her nose slightly touching the back of the woman’s neck and head. One week earlier, the woman had a concussion from a fall.
Dancer stood there for over ten minutes by the woman’s side. Chloe stood behind Dancer, supporting her four-legged friend. After we left the arena, Dancer and Chloe stood in that same spot in a relaxed meditative state.
They were processing, and realigning their energies!
Some may say this is “woo-woo.” The data is out. We are beyond this perception. The proof is in this woman. She had a full smile, thanked the mares, and did not want to leave.
What other evidence do you need? Put your skepticism aside, and join us for a sound healing with horses.
We are waiting!
