This post is dedicated to all those who have had to fail many times until they reached their goal. I am very happy to announce that I launched Equine Empowerment in partnership with Sheriffmuir Farm in Harvard, Massachusetts.
It is a dream come true for me! There were many curves in the road, some potholes and crashes. This is what I love about the human spirit: it endures.
Equine Empowerment (EE) is designed to meet the needs of the individual (child or adult) by providing mounted or unmounted therapeutic riding lessons for those with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, cognitive issues and/or social challenges.
It is not so much about riding lessons, although that is part of the program. The focus is to foster and care for the human spirit within each of us, by being with horses.
I recently found this quote from Lauren Davis Baker, thanks to Jo-Ann Wilson, “A barn is a sanctuary in an unsettled world, a sheltered place where life’s true priorities are clear. When you step back, it’s not just about horses — It’s about love, life and learning. We honor our horses for their brave hearts, courage and willingness to give. Indeed, horses have hearts of warriors and often carry us into and out of fields of personal battle. Those who know them understand how fully a horse can hold a human heart.”

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! onward and upward Camron!
