All life is vibrating. I discovered this principle and have been pursuing it for a number of years. It has been a journey of connecting the dots.
I would like to offer you a simple outline of the breadcrumb trail that I have been following!
Children on the spectrum usually have a sound sensitivity. They may be sound adverse or sound seeking. Or both.
Sound is vibration. Noise is an unwanted sound.
Horses communicate through vibration and energy.
Horses have better hearing than humans. Horses can hear low to very high frequency sound, in the range of 14 Hz to 25 kHz (human range = 20 Hz to 20 kHz). Horses are able to single out specific sounds.
Tuning forks are a simple instrument to experiment with vibration.
Children like experiments and like to explore.
Children and horses are very similar with their curiosity
From there, I started to give the children tuning forks to introduce to the horses. We would observe the horses’ reactions. It was magnetic! Both the children and horses connected to the vibrations of the tuning forks.
And this is when it started to blossom…..
I invited my choir to sing to the horses at the farm. We held a special concert with people and horses in the audience.
I introduced classical music and other types of music to Hunter on a Bluetooth speaker. Hunter would stand by the speaker motionless. He started to request relaxing piano compositions when I offered him choices.
Then I played my Ukulele for Hunter. He would put his nose on the strings to feel the vibrations.
I offered Hunter sound healings with weighted tuning forks that can be placed on his body. He would almost fall asleep.
Thanks to my friend Monique I purchased three crystal singing bowls with her help, as well as I took her online course.
After introducing the singing bowls to the horses, I decided to invite humans to participate in the sound healing with horses.
The first several sound healings I held in the indoor arena, allowing the horses to move freely in the space with people sitting in a circle while I played the bowls.
BAM! Out of nowhere, one morning as I was preparing for the sound healing, I decided to use Hunter’s outdoor paddock with Hunter, Romeo ( a miniature horse), and five people. Something unexpected happened. Hunter and Romeo introduced themselves to the people and did a quick inventory/ assessment of each person. Hunter listened to me talk while I gave an introduction. As soon as I started playing the bowls, he and Romeo walked to the fence next to the property line and stood there. Usually Hunter stands over the bowls or in the circle. They did not eat grass. They stood there facing away from us but not moving, looking over the fence.
HUNTER AND ROMEO WERE PROTECTING THE PERIMETER. They were on watch. There is a woman who walks her untrained dogs off leash. Often the dogs will chase the horses, even though she has been told to manage her dogs. On this day, the dogs and the woman were in the field walking as we sat in a circle.
The horses were serving us, while listening to the bowls and being a part of the circle! Say what? Not all will believe me. I would have a hard time too. One woman in our group said that she felt the horses protecting us.
Why is it that we rely so heavily on sight and discard our hearing and feeling capabilities?
The door has been opened. I cannot turn back. I am offering group sound healings every month, as well as personalized recorded sound healings for those who cannot travel to the farm.
If you are reading this and feel this is something that interests you, send me a message!
The horses do the work. I follow their lead.

I'll take you up on the sound healing for my 2 mares. Or if you have the time, pls visit and introduce us to sound healing!
Awesome work, Cam!
